Policies ensuring comfort, health and safety
Paramount to C&K's philosophy is comfort, health and safety of each child.
C&K have developed a range of policies to support care and safety in our services. To ensure the health and safety of each child at a C&K centre we implement a policy that includes administration of medication, immunisation, exclusion for contagious illness, sun protection, nutrition, workplace health and safety, playground equipment, excursions, emergency and evacuation and more. It is important that parents are aware of these policies in order to support the staff and committee in ensuring the comfort, safety and wellbeing of all.
These policies reflect best practice as well as mandatory requirements and ensure that staff are catering to the highest standards of care, health and safety for children. Our policies have been developed with input from relevant agencies including government departments and health officials. C&K policies are continually reviewed and communicated to our services in an endeavour to keep up to speed with the best possible practices in regard to the comfort health and safety of your children.
These operational policies are available on our private intranet site. Affiliated services staff and committees have access to the intranet site via username and password. Alternatively, a hard copy will be available to you for perusal on request from the Director. |
